The board of SBVP is committed to enhancing the lives of students, equipping them with the technical and soft skills required to excel in the competitive and challenging work environment of today.
SBVP's philosophy is inspired by the Krishnadevaraya's Vijayanagaram where knowledge flourished like in no other era.
The institute is driven by values that ensure that every action and event is Humane, Vibrant and fosters Resilience.
HUMANE: It is an acknowledged fact that behind any endeavour, the importance of Human values can’t be understated. Even governments talk of economic development policies with human face; environmentalists talk of sustainable growth and rechargeable ecosystem with human face. Of late all major industrial and irrigation projects are besieged with human rehabilitation and resettlement issues as they were not an integral part of project design. In future this issue is going to take gigantic proportions unless human values and inculcated and integrated as part of design. strives for this integration of human values in grooming the workforce of the future drawing considerable strengths from the vast and varied cultural ethos of India.
VIBRANT: In order to achieve fairly demanding GDP growth targets and the associated establishment of knowledge universe, the institutions have to be democratic and vibrant. Dull and laggard societies hardly achieve anything. It is the life, enthusiasm and zeal of the members which make the institutions vibrant and contribute considerably to the establishment of knowledge based universe. works towards training the youth to become active and vibrant to face the challenges posed to them.
RESILIENT: Change is the only constant thing in life. It is all around us. Individuals change; families change; societies change and countries change. Great civilizations which ruled the world are now consigned to history. This is because of lack of resilience. People or institutions which faced changing conditions with resilience have survived. It is the stated value of to be resilient and to ingrain this quality in the institutions it builds up.
